Betting should be a form of entertainment — watching the Brasileirão with more excitement, cheering for your team in the Libertadores with a wager on the line. 17bet provides real tools so you can stay in control and enjoy the platform in a healthy way.
Responsible gambling is not just a disclaimer in the footer — it is a stance taken by 17bet which translates into concrete tools, genuine human support, and a long-term commitment to the well-being of every user on the platform. Brazilian players who access 17bet to bet on the Brasileirão Série A, play slots, or follow a live match deserve an experience that is, above all, safe and sustainable.
Betting can and should be entertainment. Watching Flamengo vs. Palmeiras with a bet on the line makes the match more exciting. Rooting for your team in the Copa do Brasil or the Libertadores with a wager placed gives every moment an extra edge. That's what healthy use of the platform looks like — and that's exactly the kind of experience 17bet is here to deliver.
The problem starts when betting stops being entertainment and becomes a compulsion — when you're chasing losses, when Pix withdrawals are coming from money that shouldn't be touched, when gambling gets in the way of real-life commitments. 17bet was built to recognize these signs and respond proactively, with tools you can activate in your account yourself without having to speak to anyone.
All the tools below are available free of charge in your account. You can activate them yourself at any time, without needing to contact support.
All of 17bet's responsible gambling tools are activated directly on the platform in under 1 minute, with no need to contact support. Here's how:
Recognizing the signs of a problem early is the most important step. If you identify any of these behaviors in yourself, consider activating one of 17bet's protection tools or seeking support.
If you identified with two or more items above, that's an important signal to act now — before the problem goes further.
Check the items that have applied to you over the past 4 weeks. This tool is for guidance only — it does not replace a professional assessment.
All signs point to you gambling in a controlled way. Keep it up. Keeping gambling as entertainment is the best way to enjoy 17bet. Consider setting preventive deposit limits — even users who are doing well can benefit from an extra layer of control.
Some signs are worth paying attention to. You have checked behaviors that may indicate the start of a problematic pattern. We recommend setting deposit or session limits now, and considering a voluntary 7-day break to reset your relationship with gambling. Our support team is available 24/7 if you'd like to talk.
You have checked several significant warning signs. It is important to act now. We strongly recommend activating self-exclusion for at least 3 months and seeking professional support specialized in gambling addiction. Our support team can guide you through the next steps — reach us via live chat or at contato@17bet.click.
The 17bet believes that responsible gambling is not solely the user's responsibility — it's a shared commitment between the platform and its players. That's why, beyond offering self-control tools, the platform invests in monitoring systems that detect behavioral patterns associated with problem gambling and acts proactively, reaching out to users who show warning signs before things escalate.
Brazilian bettors have a very specific profile: most use their phones, bet primarily on football — Brasileirão Série A, Copa do Brasil, Libertadores — and access the platform during leisure time, often alone. This context makes it harder to spot a problem from the outside. That is why the self-limiting tools available on 17bet are so important: they put control directly in the user's hands, allowing them to set their own limits before any problem arises.
One thing that often goes unnoticed is the illusion of control. When a betting streak is going well — you nailed the Flamengo scoreline, that boosted Palmeiras odd came through, the crash game paid off — it can feel like you have the process figured out. The reality is that past results have no bearing on future outcomes in Sports Betting or casino games with certified RNG. Every bet is a fresh probability, independent of whatever happened before. Recognizing this is key to maintaining a healthy relationship with the platform.
The same applies to the "chasing losses" phenomenon — arguably the most dangerous pattern in problem gambling. After a bad run of results, the urge to deposit more via Pix to "win back" what you lost can be overwhelming. In practice, this almost always leads to even greater losses. The loss limits available on the 17bet were designed specifically to break that cycle: once you hit your configured limit, the account simply stops accepting bets for that period — no negotiation, no "just one more".
For 17bet users who enjoy slots, crash games like Aviator or Spaceman, or live casino games with Portuguese-speaking dealers, session limits are especially valuable. These games move fast and run in short cycles, which can make time fly by without you noticing. Setting a session limit of 1 hour per day, for example, ensures a hobby doesn't quietly turn into a habit that drains your time and money.
17bet also takes the protection of minors seriously. Registration requires a valid CPF, and the platform cross-references this information with the date of birth to verify that the user is 18 or older. Mandatory identity verification (KYC) before the first withdrawal adds an extra layer of protection. Any account identified as belonging to someone under 18 is closed immediately, as set out in the platform's Terms and Conditions.
The responsible gambling support at 17bet operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in Portuguese. Unlike many platforms that redirect users with concerns to external links, 17bet's support team guides users, helps activate protection tools, and when needed, initiates the self-exclusion process immediately. No bureaucratic delays when someone asks for help — that's the commitment.
Finally, it is worth saying: if you made it to this page, you are already doing the right thing. If you recognize any of the warning signs, do not wait. Setting a deposit limit right now is easier than dealing with the consequences of a problem that has grown deeper. 17bet will still be your favorite betting platform when you are ready to come back — in control, with a clear head, and with Brazilian football on the other side of the screen to keep things exciting.
Beyond the tools available to users, 17bet adopts internal responsible gambling practices across the entire platform.
